In 2023 Karla founded Khami Swim bordering the Cronulla beaches in Sydney, Australia.

‘My vision for Khami Swim was curated from a place where I often find myself struggling to find swimwear brands that are consistently dedicated to the longevity and structuring of their collections. Often seeing that brands in gaining traction prioritise mass production and quick turnover over artistry and craftsmanship. I felt there was a place in the market for a swimwear brand to engage in the deliberate process of design and creation and preserve loyalty amongst women.’

Karla sought to create a line that allows women to feel empowered, elegant, and comfortable, with each piece meticulously crafted to stand the test of time. At Khami, the focus is on blending fashion and function, offering styles that reflect effortless confidence, ensuring women always feel like their best selves, wherever their journeys take them.
